Use the newest one that doesn't have a 2.6 kernel. IIRC only
3.5.4.2-RC has a 2.6 kernel for the collie and it was only for
testing.

Try doing a normal boot (option 1) and putting in the SD card then.
See if that works. If it doesn't, check dmesg and try manually doing
the insmod and mount calls. Check the installed packages for the sd
support package (/usr/lib/ipkg/status or /var/lib/ipkg/status, IIRC).
