  Well, I didn't yet have chance to contribute (though I hope to ;-)
), so it's nothing but IMHO, but I guess, the maintainers are in full
right to decide on the questions of the hosting, especially, if it's
connected with maintenance issues.

  Of course, it's sad to see GPE leaving Handhelds.org, but well, I
don't think it's going to undermine its value for Embedded Linux
community. I hope that there will be more attention to its primary
area of expertise - kernel support for PocketPC devices, related
information, and working towards better contacts and unifying with
other devices' porting efforts (and as a contributor, I'm working in
those directions already).

  Ok, nice to hear that this made it into the scope of migration! Did
you already tried to perform test conversions? Worth to do few tests
beforehand, IMHO, to known how effortful it will be and what issue may
arise (well, there shouldn't be many, judging from common experience
with cvs2svn.pl).
