Florian, I understand you want to make this look all nice and marketing
friendly.  The reality is that having different opinions is one thing,
the way you reacted to my concerns is another.

You may remember how not long ago you were reaching new lows accusing me
of suffering from "persecution mania" and whatnot.  That's not how one
responds to anybody one respects on a public mailing list ever.  That's
not how one responds to anyone whose work one values.

I'm not paranoid or anything, I'm just asking questions, inconvenient
questions that obviously don't fit your agenda.

I don't know why, apart from George, I'm the only one to bring them up
publically here.  I do, however, know there are others who share my
opinion that the whole "move" smells fishy.  They just don't say it
here.  I don't want to speak for anyone else, so I'm omitting the names,
but at least Florian knows who I'm referring to.

Perhaps I decided to speak up because, in lack of technical reasons [1],
the mere proposal (or the fact that it had all been completed behind the
scenes) was a slap in the face of anyone who has worked hard to keep
handhelds.org going despite a number of obstacles.

Perhaps it was because you were apparently willing to burn down
the bridges anyway.

The one thing I know for sure is that it's a bit late now to say
you "really appreciate[d] [my] contribution".  Your actions have spoken
a different language.

[1] If you wanted Subversion services, why didn't you simply ask for
    those? The bugzilla and general performance issues are long sorted
    out btw.
