sounds like Familiar ships a broken version of libeventdb. I remember we had
this problem some time ago, but it should be fixed in the last release. Just to
verify this: Could you provide me a database file that suffers from this issue
so that i can test it with a newer libeventdb?

I remember it had a desktop file to start it from the panel, isn't it available
as a panel applet anymore? That would be a packaging bug...

Sounds like a topic for the Familiar mailinglist, if i remeber correctly tere
are fixed kernel packages available.

Do you use the old Multisync application or the "Multisync" frontend of the
OpenSync framework?
