white screen after trying to flash bootloader on iPAQ 3760

Hi, my iPAQ 3760 froze with a white lit screen after having tried to program the bootloader as in the instructions on http://familiar.handhelds.org/familiar/releases/v0.8.4/install/bootldr-cf-mmc-sd.html . Here's what I did: - backed up old bootloader and wince image as per the instructions - selected 'Program' and then selected the file 'bootldr- sa-2.21.12.bin.gz' a message flashed by that I could not read and then I got a white screen.
