I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this. If not sorry!. I'm having problems installing/booting. I've read thru as much as I can find but I can't find much detail relating to this problem. I'd love some assistance or guidance. Here's the details: IPAQ 3835 Using bootloader 2.21.12 - installed with no problems. Downloaded several different packages including GPE and OPIE. The site gives me (via their form) h2200 2.16.15 package. issue a "load root" and upload the jffs2 package via serial-Ymodem with no problems then boot. Here's what it gives me: boot> boot booting jffs2... booting boot/zImage from partition >root< loaded file of size = 0x00153714 at location 0xC0008000 kernel partition base C0008000 kernel_magic=EA0003FE kernel_region_words[9]=00000000 Unrecognized kernel image based on some other posting I tried being a little more specific about what to boot in case a link was wrong. boot> ls /boot zImage zImage-2.6.15-hh2 boot> boot jffs2 /boot/zImage (also tried just zImage) booting /boot/zImage from partition >root< loaded file of size = 0x00153714 at location 0xC0008000 kernel partition base C0008000 kernel_magic=EA0003FE kernel_region_words[9]=00000000 Unrecognized kernel image boot> boot /boot/zImage I've seen a few others having similar problems, but the failure is so generic I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting.
