hx4700 WiFi

First of all, I must say this is neat!

I successfully installed GPE on the first try and all went smoothly.

I then wanted to try some connectivity and installed the WiFi firmware 
from sdg.
On reboot, the interface is detected.

I configured everything and the access point is associated on the first 
try and DHCP gqve me an IP and provided the route and DNS!
I must say I am amazed (it took me longer to make the WiFi work on my 
laptop lol).

I am now able to ssh into the iPaq via this WiFi network.

HOWEVER:
I can't make an http connection :'( All wget requests hang and the 
browser can't connect.

It is not a DNS problem since I can ping google:

It looks like the device is firewalling itself. This lead me to 
investigating iptables but the required module is not built in:
root@ipaq-pxa270:~# iptables -L
FATAL: Module ip_tables not found.
iptables v1.3.3: can't initialize iptables table `filter': iptables who? 
(do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

It looks to me like a bug in the Familiar kernel? Since I can ssh fine, 
I discarded a driver problem... maybe too fast?
