Hello Recently i bought a wireless card from ebay following the info on the Ipaq Hardware Compatibility, specifically this one: -------------------- Lucent/Orinoco Wireless 802.11 card (Gold) Card works great with the 0.5 distribution, "out of the box". Identified as a WaveLan card. [email protected] -------------------- Before buying the card I checked briefly (not enough) that it worked, looked at some pictures and it said it was a PC CARD, to my dissmay when i receive it, it turned to be a cardbus not a PC CARD, the model is 8470-WD, effectively being a Orinoco Gold card but with chipset Atheros, anyway, it's a great card and i can use it on my laptop. So, searching again for a REALLY working card, I found this page http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/peripherals/pccardwirelesslan.htm which is in some ways more complete than the present page, is there a possibility to take some info from there and add it to the current page? If anyone is interested, at the time of this writing there are some cards that should work, those are available at EBAY (29 of them), I bought one yesterday, so once it's in my hands I'll report if it works. http://cm.ebay.com/cm/ck/1065-29392-2357-0?uid=426696174&site=0&ver=EOIBSA080805&lk=ItemDescriptionANDimage&Item=280152371918 Hope this helps someone Jimmy _______________________________________________ The Familiar Linux Distribution Familiar mailing list [email protected] https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/familiar irc://irc.freenode.net #familiar
