Thank You! Youd laptop, as mine, shurely have some USB ports. Buy a serial USB adapter (they are very cheap) and cpnnect it to your USB. Most adapters, if not all, are recognized by Linux, all have a Windows driver. You have only to note the device associated to your adapter and configure your favorite terminal adapter for that.
