Taking back of OS for HP IPaq 210 or HP IPaq hx2790b

Hello,
Greetings,

I am a graduate research assistant at Kansas State University. I have HP
IPaq 210 and HP IPaq hx2790b.
As a part of my research I have to load Linux in the handheld Device. I
need to take the present OS Back up before loading Linux.
I would like to know whether I can take back up of present OS using
BootBlaster. If not, I would like to know whether there is any way to
take back up.
