How to put h2210 in vanilla kernel?

Dear Familliar users,
I'm trying to build Cross Linux from Scratch (CLFS) for ARM, but I hit a
snag and I think you guys may know the answer. I am able to get a kernel
from here:
http://familiar.handhelds.org/source/v0.8.4/sources/linux.kernel26_anoncvs.handhelds.org_K2-6-16-hh3_.tar.gz,
and compile that with my cross-compile toolchain, and it runs fine in
Familliar.
However, in CLFS, I need to do something along the lines of
make mrproper
make ARCH=arm headers_check
make ARCH=arm INSTALL_HDR_PATH=dest headers_install
cp -rv dest/include/* ${CLFS}/usr/include
but that facility seems to have been removed from the handhelds.org kernel
source.
I attempted with a vanilla kernel, but I'm unable to find Intel PXA2xx-based
Implementation>hp iPAQ 2210, etc.
Could someone tell me please, how to patch a vanilla kernel for use in
familliar on an iPAQ? (That would presumably help me to use the same kernel
in CLFS).
