ation Visa Program (generically termed the Green Card Lot***y) has opened f=
or applications. This program has successfully allocated US Green Card Vis=
as to approx. 55,000 individuals annually, along with their immediate famil=
y, since the program was initiated into United States law in 1990. The pri=
mary goal of the DV program is to ensure the diversity of the US population=
and allows South Africans (in addition to many other countries) partake in=
this random selection program. In 2008 in excess of 800 South Africans we=
