Well, I now have Intimate running on my iPAQ with a Toshiba 5GB PCMCIA hard
drive. Unfortunately it seems to be randomly hanging for no apparent reason,
usually when it's very busy.

Reading the install docs, I see a mention that swap spaces of 32MB or more
tend to cause similar symptoms; I had carefully made my swap area 31MB
because of this, but it didn't help. Disabling swap completely made things a
lot more stable. I'm currently running at 16MB swap to see what happens.

Does anyone know what's causing this? Are there any workarounds that will let
me use more swap?
