 Setup 
Installation onto a iPAQ 3870 with IBM Microdrive 1Gb installed in dual slot PCMCIA expansion slot. Serial terminal to win2k box, USB network to Linux box connected to ADSL via DHCP serving router.

 Situation
I have successfully installed bootloader 2.18.54 and familiar 0.61 successfully, and then ran the script as per the website. BTW maybe add in that you need to run "ipkg update" before trying initimate from familiar as mkreiser is not in the ipkg list.

Ran the install script and set the Microdrive as follows (IT is not mouted at this point):

Part 1    970Mb    Type 83
Part 2    31Mb     Type 82

The script ran fine at this point mounting the drive, but then failed after the reboot. I have acepted the default settings and it still does not work.

After this failed, I tried using the method described in the how-to pdf (i.e. copying zimage, initrd and params to the microdrive setup like so:

part 1    10Mb     Type 6      Fat16
part 2    The rest Type 82     Linux
)

unmounted the drive and then rebooted.

It seemed to try and start and then it say that it can not find the boot image. Either it has nt mouned the microdrive properly or there is something else happening.

What does this sound like to other people?
