Already thought of that. If left in its package, a CF card is WAAAAY too big. Outside of its package, it might fit, but it will certainly be banging into the chips below and the keyboard above (think fatigue failure - and the Jornadas are already old enough). Even thought of SD/MMC, but the support circuitry needed to serialize the address and data busses would jack the cost up too much and make this way more complex than it needs to be.
