Version 0.8.4 familiar on J728

I found the page for the Jornada 72x series, and it refers me to another
page, one that mentions the 0.8.2 familiar distro and jamming the 2.4
kernel back into the 0.8.2 release.

By running through the ftp server, I found there is a 0.8.4 distro for
the Jornada. 

What is to be used on a 728?  If the Jornada is being supported, are
there actual pages and a wiki somewhere to help get it installed, or is
the J72x an "also ran" when using familiar?
