the kernel is running fine. I'm just missing initrd for it (I used 2.4 
one and it works but without it I got kernel panic (maybe my configuration 
problem).

However the functinality is still far from 2.4.x line. There is still 
sound missing, on 2.6.13 I had even irda working, for my ABB keyboard 
layout the keys are wrong (I still do not know how to change the layout on 
the fly with 2.6 - if possible. With 2.4.x loadkeys does good job.), the 
touchscreen with opie is still not working, the PCMCIA is configured 
somehow that it is not working by default too (I mean auto-loading the 
drivers on card insertion.).

This is meant only as summary what I see is not ideal in 2.6.x. Otherwise 
thanks for it anyway.
