Distro for J728

I see the page:

that everything works except the modem, which is fine by me.


This page only links to a page containing jffs2 images.  If you don't
have a flash board, can you still  mount up the jffs2 images using a
loopback under linux, and tar the contents up from the jffs2 image, then
untar them to an ext2 partition on a CF card?  Obviously, a few edits
will be necessary.

If the above method will work, what do I use to boot the kernel from the
CF?  hpcboot or linexec, or ???
