Assuming that anybody is still wading through the spam and reads this... I'm now the proud owner of a happy little Jornada 720, and am quite pleased with it - I've been able to connect to a dial-up service, and the wireless card seems in working order (though I have yet to find an unsecured WiFi access point to test it with). However - I /am/ having one teensy little difficulty. My purchase didn't come with any CDs or floppies; and when I plug it via USB into my Win98SE desktop, the desktop looks for a driver, but can't find one. Which makes it rather hard to use ActiveSync, let alone start installing a new OS. I emailed HP's tech support, but the response focussed on the error message involved rather than my actual problem; the suggested solutions all started with ActiveSyncing the Jornada. If I might ask, does anyone here know where I might find my missing driver? (And, while I have your attention - does there exist a piece of WinCE software which allows the Jornada's IR port to be used as a TV/VCR/etc remote, as I once used my Palm m100 for long long ago?)
