Howdy, Gregory! Glad you're back!

About the Jornada Flashboard - I've made a little progress on it, but nothing much to report to the list just yet. For those inquiring minds, here is where I am:

1) Research more modern RAM and Flash chips to see if any would be a better match than those that were originally used. If so, finish the schematic capture in Kicad and route a board.

2) Find out if UBoot/RedBoot/whatever bootloader can boot Linux from CF (basically, does the bootloader have support for a PCMCIA bridge?). The advantage here would be using CF to hold the OS, making the flash process much easier (pop the CF out of the Jornada, pop it into a card reader on a desktop machine, copy a filesys and/or kernel, pop the CF out of the reader and back into the Jornada, ready to go). If so, go to #1 and finish the schematic capture with smaller Flash chips.

Thoughts?? Answers??
