Re: new release tomorrow

hoi
i played with my jornada 565 with familiar 8.2 (i think) for a short
time, but stopped because the battery was crap.
while cleaning up i found it again and looked for news...
i found the images alex uploaded a few days ago and installed

it boots and works as far as i can see... havent tried sound or irda
or anything.. but it boots :)
only thing i noticed so far: the backlight didnt power on again, after
it dimmed it the first time... i disabled dimming and it lit up again,
when i tried to adjust the light level in the settings.
 
i wanna get a sandisk connectplus wifi+flash  128mb cf card working...
but the prism and hostap packages (that i think are needed for that?)
arent in http://familiar.handhelds.org/~chicken/oe/ipk/

the card is recogniced while startup and hotplugging:
<5>pccard: PCMCIA card inserted into slot 0
<5>pcmcia: registering new device pcmcia0.0
<5>pcmcia: registering new device pcmcia0.1
but thats it.

id like to help testing (and maybe developing later on) but i need
some docu/help :)
