Short answer:
It should.

Long answer:
The only differences that I am aware of between the J720 and J728 are asthetics (external case coloring) and a different internal daughterboard.  The 720's daughterboard is populated with 32Megs RAM and the 728's daughterboard has 64Megs RAM.
(I heard reports that there was a J72x that was sold in the UK that didn't have the on-board modem or it wasn't connected on the motherboard, but I don't know anything about it.)
