USB is useless because its going I haven't read all the history either, and I may be slightly out of my depth here but here's an idea: You say that HP didn't bring the JTAG signals out onto the system connector. Would it be feasible to make the flash board a "dual function" board where through the use of say, a jumper, one would put the board into "program" mode which would re-route JTAG from the flash to the system connector? That way all we'd need is a JTAG programmer wired to a mate to the system board connector. -mato
