HP didn't bring out *any* JTAG signals on their production J's - so accessing the processsor's JTAG signals seems to be out-of-the-question (as far as I know, there is simply no way to access the processor's JTAG signals from the ROM/RAM board.

However, if you are suggesting to *put* JTAG hardware on the flash board to allow us to program the flash - that might be do-able, but it was my understanding that JTAG was processor-only.  I'll look and see.
