I do also face the same problem with my German HP Jornada 720. Log output is
identical.

2.6.17 and 2.6.19-rc5

none for me

 Transcend 2 GB CF, 120x
 hama 128 MB CF, Part no.: 46905

Have no serial connection to jornada, but log output is so far identical to
the one from the others.
