I replaced the cells in my Jornada battery with two Li-Ion 18650 3.6V
2600mAh cells and is has been working fine. I forget where I ordered the
cells from, but they were relatively inexpensive. I've clocked my
Jornada running for over 30 hours (with the display off and relatively
low wireless activity) using these cells.

Good luck.
