Greetings, This is another part of the endless flashrom discussion. I truly believe that if we can get some new flashboards out there, we can easily turn this machine into a "must have" device for linux users. Im still coding away to make the real-suspend thing work but all this would be avoided if we could get flashboards. The specs is up on handhelds site I believe and for someone with experience it shouldn't be that hard to set into motion. The price for the end board isn't that important, I bet users would easily put up the money it takes to have true linux on the jornada. If needed I could also round up interested users on jlime and see how many we get. The point is that the manufacturer will not loose money over this. Also, since ebay is flooding with old rom boards. Any chance those could be refitted with a flashrom? They are selling them dead cheap so would be a bargain for any developer interested. Im sure me and cmonex could fix a nice bootloader/lilo for the flashrom. Anyhow, any updates on this matter at all? Oh, and on a side note. Anyone actually got one of those flashboards? Asking because support might be removed from the kernel unless atleast one user steps up. Best wishes Kristoffer
