Now that's wierd. Not quite the response I had expected :-). Maybe it's
something 
I've done to the matchbox code... but I doubt it. In fact, I only added a
couple of 
commandline options to tell it where to place windows and modified the
positioning 
code respectively.

Well, I tried running it under Gnome as well. Same thing. (The panel is the
one
that ships with RedHat 9). My panel isn't much more than a modified version
from
the one you'll find in the libwnck sample directory.

Something else, too: maybe I missed something in the docs, but I can't get
Match-
box to compile with keyboard support. Is it "keyboard" as in "can be used by
key-
board users" or "keyboard" as in "onscreen keyboard"? Cause in the former
case,
I wouldn't understand the configure script's "refusive" nature towards
enabling it.

Anyway, I'll try again with an unmodified Matchbox version as soon as I get
home.
