Sounds cool. I'm was wondering if I should ask you to incorporate my
stuff as a kind of configure option or something, but that would prolly
be a bad idea right now. Things might - yuck - "change", after all.

Instead, what I'd like for a feature right now would be default keyboard
shortcuts (that is, without the need for a configuration file anywhere),
and preferably they would be the "standard" Windows ones (who everybody
is accustomed to nowadays). Maybe the idea can actually find a friend in
you... (Possibly I'd implement it, but not without prior encouragement
due to newbieness, so to speak :-) ).

That was also one of the wm's I had a look at. No way for a newbie ;-).

Funny. That's what many say :-]. Actually, nope. In effect it was born
out of two basic reasons. Firstly, my own dissatisfaction with computer
interfaces. Secondly, granma's _disability_ to use them. Even if that
might not be visible on these screenshots, the basic idea is to have a
UI-experience that is not object- but task-oriented. And I had that idea
_way_ before Microsoft even knew about Windows XP's name. (On the other
hand, there's probably been people thinking of this _way_ before I was
even born, so... ;-) ). When you watch a person in her/his 80's (or also
much younger, but never having had anything to do with computers), you
can often notice how they percept their surroundings and do their work:
One. After. The Other. Not many things at once, and even _if_ they do
that, they _look_ at one, and _keep in mind_ the other. Frequently to
be seen when somebody is preparing dinner. She or he is _watching_ the
sauce (and adding ingredients to it) and _keeping in mind_ the noodles
meanwhile. It'll just be about impossible to achieve that with just a
window manager and some widgets around it, when the applications don't
support that paradigm. But that's another story/problem/challenge.
