matchbox0.7 repainting issue

Hi All,
    I have got kaffe running on intel PXA board. I have got matchbox 0.7 
running on it. Kaffe defines that the parent window has to be repainted 
by windowmanager. This is not happening with mathchbox 0.7. Is this an 
issue with the matchbox or kaffe.
