ah, thanks!  that did it.

follow-on questions (i'm still looking at bluebox):
    what does the "menufont" id control?
    what does the "barfont" id control?
    i.e., where would i see these fonts definitions used?

and is there a way to control the bubble font?  this is far less
important, since i don't use those bubbles much.
