That was the first thing I tried, it did not seem to help.  The command 
in the mbdock.session is:

mb-applet-launcher -o -1 -l mbdesktop.png /usr/local/bin/matchbox-remote 
-desktop

This was added by the "add" menu on the right-click panel popup menu.
I just went in and added the "-l" flag and got rid of the --desktop
option and to run the command directly.
