Hi;

This definetly sounds like a realy odd problem, I dont know how much I
can help as my experience with Java is very limited.

Am I correct in understanding if you run you apps under matchbox WM
*without* the panel or desktop they are fine - but they then throw
these 'null pointer exceptions' *with* the panel or desktop running ?

Have you tried running with mb 0.8.4 - that had some fixes for AWT
stuff iirc but Im not sure if its related.

What versions of panel/desktop are you using ?

Is it possible you can send me an app which exhibits the above
behaviour ?
