Get mmenu; 
( http://handhelds.org/~mallum/downloadables/mmenu/mmenu-0.6.tar.gz )

This will give you a simple app launcher for matchbox. It expects a
debian style /usr/lib/menu to parse. Please note, mmenu is alpha
quality !

For apps such as monoluanch you want started automatically with X add
them to ~/.xinitrc or ~/.xsession depending on your setup.
