Matchbox Application Icons not shown on desktop

Dear Sir

I am using matchbox-window manager for target ARM.

Initially the icons are shown on matchbox desktop but subsequently,
they fail with

matchbox-wm: X error warning and opcode = BadWindow in line
matchbox-window-manager-0.9.3/src/misc.c

How do i solve the error...

The icons are shown properly initially on boot..but later....after
opening an application....and closing the application....the
application icons disappear..
