I'm trying to build opie for tosa but am having problems.
I've updated oe.db and my org.openembedded.dev branch (the last
time I successfully built opie was with .oz354fam083).
When trying to build linux-jlime-arm-2.6.17, there are some problems:
1) Why is it trying to build a 2.6 kernel? I thought tosa was still
stuck on 2.4 ones; did I miss the memo about the new kernel?
2) there are two typo's in the jlime items:
2a) in linux-jlime-arm_2.6.17.bb:
s/www.kernel.orgm/www.kernel.org/
2b) and in linux-jlime-sh3_2.6.17.bb
s/defconfig_jlime/defconf_jlime/
3) during the compile step, there are lots of errors, the first few are
| arch/arm/mach-sa1100/jornada720.c: In function `jornada720_mcu_byte':
| arch/arm/mach-sa1100/jornada720.c:64: warning: implicit declaration of function `MCU_rEVERSE'
| arch/arm/mach-sa1100/jornada720.c:69: error: request for member `i' in something not a structure or union
| arch/arm/mach-sa1100/jornada720.c:69: error: parse error before ':' token
| arch/arm/mach-sa1100/jornada720.c: In function `jornada720_mcu_start':
| arch/arm/mach-sa1100/jornada720.c:80: error: `MCU_TxDummy' undeclared (first use in this function)
Any suggestions about what to do next to complete the build?
Thanks,
Wendell
