Unless Michael upload compatible hostap-modules, I don't think you will get WPA on sl-5500. In the mean time stick with WEP. As you are the second person who was bited by the incompatible modules problem, I think worthwhile to attract developer's attention to the issue. IMHO the intermediate fix would be to downgrade hostap-modules-2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix to (0.3.9-r7) with explicit mention that WPA is not supported. If you ask me, I don't think that WPA is that much secure, just requires more time and CPU on the hacker side. (Don't know on TKIP though).
