LIRC on collie

Hey there guys, first off thanks for a great hobby!! I've found 
the perfect use for my zaurus but there is one problem. I am unable
to get my infrared port to work with a remote control. I've installed
the lirc, lirc-dev, and lirc-modules files but when I try to load the
lirc_sir module, i get a segfault..

I'm not sure how to generate a coredump for you, but I think it may have 
something to do with the fact im not passing modprobe any parameters. I
dont know what serial port my infrared port is on. I see an 'irattach /dev/ttyS1'
process running, and I have and irda0 interface up as well.. dmesg doesn't 
show me anything pertaining to /dev/tty*, and setserial -bg /dev/ttyS? gives
me invalid arguments.

Any help / tips you guys could offer would be awesome as this is the final
step in my perfect jukebox zaurus ;>
