The video decode time for a 30 second clip drops from 37 to 28 seconds. It should be easy enough to make the iwmmxt stuff select itself at run time - indeed there is already some code to do this, but I don't think it works quite right. It still ends up being worse than cacko (24 seconds), which I think may be due to the DMA load of using another overlay for OSD. I'm going to take a look at disabling the overlay when it is not in use sometime. Or use a lower depth (I'm using 16 bit at the mo). So how about clock frequency changing on the c1000 using OZ? I could take a look at some of the work if pointed in the right direction? Thanks, Tim ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
