hello i have a problem building openzaurus-3.5.4, because when building the kernel it fails due to some linking error (error output below). i've set up the open embedded environment from scratch following the instructions on the oe & openzaurus websites. the machine i'm building for is a sharp zaurus sl5500 (collie). maybe this topic was already discussed somewhere on irc or in the mailing lists but i'm rather new to the whole open embedded environment and the quantity of information is a bit overwhelming and timeconsuming digging through it. if this was already handled somewhere else a pointer to the discussion would suffice. any help would be greatly appreciated. regards peter halbmayer ..... lots of log output above but obviously no explicit errors /home/pezi/oe/tmp/work/openzaurus-sa-2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix-r22/linux/lib/lib.a \ --end-group \ -o vmlinux drivers/char/char.o: In function `vt_ioctl': drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xab74): undefined reference to `key_maps' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xaf04): undefined reference to `key_maps' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xaf0c): undefined reference to `keymap_count' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xaf28): undefined reference to `func_table' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xaf30): undefined reference to `funcbufleft' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xaf34): undefined reference to `funcbufsize' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xaf38): undefined reference to `funcbufptr' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xb32c): undefined reference to `func_table' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xb330): undefined reference to `funcbufsize' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xb334): undefined reference to `funcbufptr' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xb338): undefined reference to `func_buf' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xb33c): undefined reference to `funcbufleft' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xb340): undefined reference to `accent_table_size' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0xb344): undefined reference to `accent_table' drivers/char/char.o: In function `kbd_processkeycode': drivers/char/char.o(.text+0x1e534): undefined reference to `key_maps' drivers/char/char.o: In function `handle_diacr': drivers/char/char.o(.text+0x1ecd0): undefined reference to `accent_table_size' drivers/char/char.o(.text+0x1ecd4): undefined reference to `accent_table' drivers/char/char.o: In function `do_fn': drivers/char/char.o(.text+0x1ed28): undefined reference to `func_table' drivers/char/char.o: In function `compute_shiftstate': drivers/char/char.o(.text+0x1f0ec): undefined reference to `key_maps' drivers/char/char.o: In function `do_slock': drivers/char/char.o(.text+0x1f270): undefined reference to `key_maps' make: *** [vmlinux] Error 1 FATAL: oe_runmake failed ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
