Hi.

Answering my own question...

It seems Matchbox-WM 1.0 which was included in the image is not
functionnal yet.

I have pushed a little bit deeper in the session startup scripts than
the previous try, and discovered that matchbox-window-manager 1.0
installed by default in the GPE image will fail on startup issueing
"root window unavailible (maybe another wm is running?)".

I have then downgraded it to 0.9.5, and it's now much better.

matchbox-wm_0.9.5+cvs-20060102-r4_akita.ipk seemed to work much
better... I however don't understand very well why it's in the feeds
of alpha2 and still in the image...

Maybe because someone else already ran into this bug ?

Any confirmation would b welcome before I file a bug report.

Best regards,
