SL-C3000 Major Problems - Please help

Hi All,

I have mentioned on the list before, in that I am trying to reflash my 
SL-C3000. I am currently running OZ 3.5.4, Spitz Kernel 2.4.20, built 18th 
Jan 2006. I need to re-flash it, and was trying to flash it using an SD Card. 
When I started the Flashing process, telling it to use the SD Card option, 
when the updater came up it told me it could not find the SD Card and 
rebooted into the existing kernel. 
The previous recommendations I got were to try a CF Card, so yesterday I went 
out and brought a 128mb CF Card. Formatted it to ext2, dropped on the 
necessary files and started the flash process. This time it told me it could 
not find the CF Card. 
On the CF Card I've got gnu-tar, hdimage1.tgz, updater.sh, and zImage.bin, 
retrieved from the http://ewi546.ewi.utwente.nl/tmp/hrw/3.5.4.1-test/alpha2/ 
server, as pointed to by Marcin previously on the list. 
I am really desperate to reflash it as I have problems with 3.5.4 in that some 
software is messed up on it now, and I cannot log into my local WiFi spots 
any more. If I can clear it down and start again I can try to trace whats 
gone wrong. I also have problems with various other facilities I rely on.

Is it possible my SL-C3000 is now screwed after the last flash? I really need 
to get this fixed, so any suggestions are more than welcome as I have a 
slight sweat breaking out with the thought of my mobile computing being 
seriously curtailed!
