It works great on my C3000. On -rc1, Opie wouldn't even start, and now it does. My WiFi card (Linksys WCF12) works too, abeit with the orinoco driver instead of hostap. I like hostap more, but if I remove the orinoco driver, the Z no longer autodetects the ESSID and also doesn't perform a DHCP request. It seems like, compared to -alpha1, the WiFi card has a slightly worse reception.
