OpenZaurus for sl-700

Hi,

I bought an old SL-700 zaurus. Actually, it runs a cacko distribution. But
I'm not satisfied:
- consumes memory ;
- slow to start application ;
- simple terminal seems to be really memory consumer.

I want to use my zaurus as:
- a PIM assistant
- a ssh terminal
- an occasional web browser
- as an MP3 player
- perhaps for mails

My previous PDA was a Palm. I was plenty satified with its "poor" GUI.

So I'm looking for a zaurus distribution oriented in optimizations.
No need for a sofisticated/beautifull brushed GUI theme.
No need for a MP3 player with beautiful animated equalizer: simply a MP3
player (select playlist an play it).

Do you think OpenZaurus can help me? Is it more optimized? Is it possible to
optimize it?
