Marcin,
Well, heck. I found I could ssh in as root to poodle! So, I shutdown
-r now to reboot. But, I noticed while looking around and trying init 3
and then init 5 that kill scripts are not in the rc?.d directories. So
control thru runlevels doesn't really work the way I'm used to. I could
/etc/init.d/gpe-dm stop or start but issuing init3 and then init 5
doesn't really shutdown X and restart it. I just noticed that the
reboot did not happen. The poodle shutoff and did not reboot. I'll
continue on. Are there any particular tests I should do other than just
try out all the software I can that is preinstalled in the image? By
the way, the initial touch screen calibration worked very well.
