There is no "/etc/init.d/quicklauncher", there is /etc/init.d/quickexec.

But if I do a 'ps auxww | grep quick' I can see that there is a
'quicklauncher' already running.

There is a /opt/QtPalmtop/bin/quicklauncher, let me try that one.....

I execute the above line and it says:

: QuickLauncher running

Then I open another shell and try to execute zsafe and get the same message:

: QuickLauncher invoked as: zsafe


Could you please briefly explain what is the relationship between
quicklauncher and zsafe (or any application)?

Maybe it is just and "install issue" and I need to fix the do_install
function but I don't know how this quicklauncher thing works.
