Ok, I found that the FILES entry was commented out and I verified that indeed no binary is placed on the IPK file. But if I un-comment the FILES entry and even if I adjust it to reflect the real file structure of the source code bitbake stops at: OE Build Configuration: BB_VERSION = "1.6.1" OE_REVISION = "bb69d0b35db362e56c556f2bf889593ec103c25d" TARGET_ARCH = "arm" TARGET_OS = "linux" MACHINE = "collie" DISTRO = "openzaurus" DISTRO_VERSION = "3.5.4" TARGET_FPU = "soft" ERROR: Nothing provides dependency zsafe NOTE: I added a line to the BB file: PROVIDES += "zsafe" But still got the same message.
