My main pda is/was an SL6000. There were too many bugs for my needs to
make OZ/Opie usable last I tried. I'm hoping this has changed with the
2.6 kernel which I'll test again soon. FWIW In the past the
suspend/resume issues, failure for alarms to wake the unit from sleep &
the annoying screen rendering problem were not acceptable to me.

I did follow dev for quite a while back when Bitkeeper was in use &
built my own feeds but this was over a year ago iirc.

Indeed. It's a shame OE doesn't have more developers, but that's
recognised, so no point harping on about it here.

I realise, otherwise I might have done this myself for those
occasionally asking (there's no way I could host such a beast anywhere).

I know. I gave up when there was no sign of SL6000 support improving
quickly.

At least with Tosa being VGA, GPE should offer a good solution, if bugs
are tolerable now. Alarms failing from sleep were a killer for me & even
the cosmetic only redraw bug specific to Tosa was sufficiently annoying
I don't think I could put up with it - but cosmetic stuff bugs me (I
like pretty & clean UIs).

Thanks again.
