This would be good enough for me, though I shall be cautious as in the
past it has been reported fixed & I've then found with my usage patterns
(during testing at least) it still exists in some form. I'll probably
give first Opie (for comparison with my last experiences) & then GPE a
go either when I get some spare time or when the next official release
of OZ occurs.

Do you recall a post to one of these lists, perhaps around 6 to 12
months ago, when someone gave a link to a non-OZ forum thread somewhere
discussing this issue on the SL6000, claiming to have a kernel patch to
fix it?

Unfortunately I can't recall the details, though I don't recall ever
seeing a follow-up on these lists, hence didn't get too excited.

This bug seems to get a mention roughly ever six months or so - I think
more recently someone mentioned their suspicions as to the cause and
that they'd look into it further when they had time.

Thanks for the update on the current state of OZ on Tosa & of course for
all the work behind that :)
