This would be good enough for me, though I shall be cautious as in the past it has been reported fixed & I've then found with my usage patterns (during testing at least) it still exists in some form. I'll probably give first Opie (for comparison with my last experiences) & then GPE a go either when I get some spare time or when the next official release of OZ occurs. >> the annoying screen rendering problem were not acceptable to me. > > That one was not fixed yet.. Do you recall a post to one of these lists, perhaps around 6 to 12 months ago, when someone gave a link to a non-OZ forum thread somewhere discussing this issue on the SL6000, claiming to have a kernel patch to fix it? Unfortunately I can't recall the details, though I don't recall ever seeing a follow-up on these lists, hence didn't get too excited. This bug seems to get a mention roughly ever six months or so - I think more recently someone mentioned their suspicions as to the cause and that they'd look into it further when they had time. >> I know. Thanks for the update on the current state of OZ on Tosa & of course for all the work behind that :) -- Michael m r o z a t u k g a t e w a y d o t n e t ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
