Hi, I dusted off my (old) C700 and installed openzaurus on it. I'm planning to use only console apps and got lot's of eyecandy running;-) Now I want to use a softphone to connect to my asterisk server to make free calls. I build the console-only version of linphone, it connects and I can listen to my voicemail, great ! Only the microphone is not working, or I don't know how to test it. I soldered myself a 3,5mm jack on a 2,5mm headset and tried to record something with arecord but didn't suceed. I really don't know what's going on, it might be my soldering qualities, the mixer settings or alsa failing ? Is it possible do to full-duplex audio on the C700 ? Should a cheap GMS-headset work on it ? Anyone with microphone experience combined with console apps ?
